“Terrorists Storm Sokoto Community, Kidnap Residents Amid Mysterious Network Blackout”

errorists have launched a deadly attack on Tofah community in the Rabah Local Government Area of Sokoto State, leaving several residents dead, many others injured, and some whisked away into the bush.

SaharaReporters learnt that the assault took place late in the night, just moments after a sudden network shutdown in the area.

Residents said the attackers stormed the village in large numbers, firing sporadically as they moved from house to house.

The latest violence comes only hours after the Federal Government announced the rescue of schoolgirls abducted weeks ago in Kebbi State.

A security source and local commentator, Bakatsine, who wrote on his X handle, disclosed that panic had gripped residents at dawn.

“SAD NEWS: Yesterday night, armed bandits attacked Tofah community in Rabah LGA of Sokoto State. The incident occurred shortly after a network shutdown and the attackers fired repeatedly as they moved through the village. Several residents were killed, others were injured and some were taken away. Because of the fear and uncertainty that followed, many people fled the community early this morning.
“For how long will residents continue to run for safety, and when will authorities bring an end to this suffering?”

Authorities and security agencies have yet to issue an official statement, and the exact number of casualties remains unclear 

Vibeslyfe previously reported that residents of Lile community in Patigi Local Government Area, Kwara State, were thrown into panic on Tuesday evening as scores of terrorists were reportedly seen advancing toward the area on dozens of motorcycles.

According to local sources who spoke with SaharaReporters, the armed men, believed to be bandits were seen riding in a convoy of over 40 motorcycles, with two to three persons on each bike.

A community source said the information came from a nearby village that witnessed the movement firsthand.
